Math Design a Park Project- due May 29th
On Thursday, May 15th, the class started a “Design a Park” Math project which applies all of the area and perimeter skills they learned in this unit. They need to design a park and draw a birds eye view of it, colour and fine line, then calculate the area and perimeter of each shape. More details and examples below:
ADST Shelter Building Research- due Friday May 23
Students will be starting a survival shelter building unit. Details on Teams and in the document below.
L.A. “My Vote” OREO Paragraph- due Wednesday May 21
Students should have 3 reasons and 3 pieces of evidence. On Monday the students met and shared their reasons in groups, which are collated in the document below. There is also an example below.
Term 3 L.A. Persuasive Writing
In term 3 we are focusing on Persuasive Writing. Most Language Arts assignments will be practicing the “OREO” paragraph. See the attachment below for more details and examples of how to write a persuasive paragraph.
